The project envision an 18 storey rental tower
with 20% of the units at below-market rates. The proposal intends to contribute
to the objectives of the Broadway Plan by increasing much-needed rental housing
in the Mount Pleasant area. A narrow floorplate was designed to ensure
separation from future towers while maximizing access to light and views. The
building will be accessed from Carolina Street and will provide shared
amenities on the ground floor, including coworking spaces, a lounge area, a gym
and and an outdoor gathering space on the rooftop. A small corner store/restaurant
is proposed at the corner of E 10th Avenue and Carolina Street.
