A rezoning application for 701 Kingsway proposes a new mixed-use rental development within Vancouver’s Broadway Plan area.
The application proposed a high-rise mixed-use building with 201 secured rental homes and commercial space on the lower levels. Twenty per cent of the residential floor area was secured for below-market rental.

Update: Vancouver City Council subsequently approved the rezoning in November 2024. The project later advanced to the development-permit stage under the address 702 East 15th Avenue, with a development permit issued in February 2026.
