The Broadway Draft Plan was released March 1, 2022, after several years of delay due to various factors including Covid. There is a lot to digest in the Draft Plan and it is exciting to see all the new possibilities. While the plan may not satisfy all citizens and stakeholders, it is certainly a bold step towards a new vision for Vancouver, one with a significantly expanded core.
Public engagement workshops are being held this week at the following times and locations:
- March 2 at Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House (800 East Broadway) from 4:30 pm -7:30pm
- March 5 at CityLab (510 West Broadway) from 10:30 am -1:30 pm
- March 7 at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House (2305 West 7th Ave) from 4:30 pm -7:30 pm
