Fastmark Acquisitions has submitted a new rezoning application for a 5-lot assembly at 523-549 East 10th Avenue, near the intersection of Broadway and Fraser Street.
The project is set to offer a total of 175 secured purpose-built rental homes, including 33 units designated as below-market-rate and 142 units at market rental prices. The unit mix includes 34 studios, 71 one-bedroom units, 67
two-bedroom units, and three three-bedroom units.
Residents of the tower will have access to shared amenity spaces on the second and fifth levels, as well as a rooftop amenity area. Furthermore, a private childcare facility for up to 25 children is planned for the ground level, featuring 2,700 square feet of indoor space and a 3,800-square-foot outdoor play area.
The development will have three underground levels, accommodating 110 vehicle parking spaces and 333 secured bicycle parking spaces. The site’s location is well-connected, situated on the 10th Avenue bikeway and within proximity to major bus routes on Broadway, Fraser, Kingsway, and Main streets. Additionally, it is approximately a 10-minute walk from the future Mount Pleasant or Great Northern Way-Emily Carr SkyTrain stations.
